ABOUT THE IMAGE: Yogi Bear made his television debut in 1958 as part of the Huckleberry Hound Show. But Yogi became so popular, that in 1961, he was given his own show, own park (Jellystone National Park), own Ranger Smith to pester, and now, a chance to run for Ranger Smith’s job. Yes, he is smarter than the average bear.
“Yogi For Ranger” was silkscreened onto acetate. Each cel and background was then hand-painted, using original Hanna-Barbera colors. Each piece features the signatures of Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
