ABOUT THE ARTWORK: These photostat storyboards were used during the production of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. Please note the 3-ring binder peg holes and reproduced pen notes, "Omitted 11/11." The artist, Dave Carson, is denoted by the initial "D" near the lower left corner of each image. Carson was a sculptor and VFX supervisor for both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He continued to work at ILM for over 20 years as a digital artist and art director.

These amazing storyboard prints come from the personal collection of producer Miki Herman. Herman worked on every film in the original Star Wars trilogy. She started as a production assistant on Episode IV, was promoted to production coordinator on Episode V, and became as the unit production manager for Episode VI. Herman was later a consultant for The Star Wars Holiday Special and the co-executive producer of the animated Droids and Ewoks series. She is also responsible for location-scouting the forest moon of Endor.
